How to Completely Change Your Thoughts About HVAC

Welcome to my blog. My name is Betty, and I recently invested in a new heating and cooling system. It had been years since I had purchased our old system, and my husband was alive then. This was the first time selecting my own system. I did a lot of research and even considered taking our HVAC system off the grid. Now, that my house is the perfect temperature all the time, I'm ready to try something else -- so I decided to start a blog. Here, I am going to post a range of blogs on HVAC related issues as well as home repairs and other topics. I hope that you like it.

Advanced features of modern Reverse cycle systems

by Eva Fisher

Ducted reverse cycle air conditioning systems are known for their efficiency in heating and cooling the home whenever necessary. Throughout the year, they can be set to meet your specific climate standards without resulting in costly energy bills. What sets these systems apart is their ability to meet both the heating and cooling needs of the home almost instantaneously. Though the use of the more environmentally friendly and highly efficiency R-410A refrigerant, the entire home receives air at the temperature that is required and in a timely fashion.

Over time, ducted reverse cycle systems have been made more efficient through the manufacturing process. There are now advanced and unique features that are incorporated into a reverse cycle system when you purchase it. Some of these features include the following.

Programmable controls

Reverse cycle systems have not been left behind in the automation and artificial intelligence era. These systems can now be programmed from mobile devices or digital control panels to turn on/off, alternate air temperature, or blow air into specific rooms at specific times.

The programmable controls of ducted systems also enable you to control the ducted gas heating and the evaporative cooling of the unit.

Zoning capabilities

Zoning is a new technology that has been pioneered in ducted reverse cycle systems. It refers to the ability of the system to set up specific areas within the home that are customised to receive individual temperature settings at specific times.

For example, you can set up the kitchen to receive cooler air during a hot day as you cook, while the children's rooms can receive slightly warmer air if they're away for the weekend.

Each room can be designated as a "zone" that has its own unique climate settings. You also have the option of setting up multiple rooms as one zone that will receive the same climate control settings. Zoning not only results in added comfort within the home, it also leads to significant cost savings.

Low Noise operation

Are you tired of those systems that are so noisy that you can't sleep? Modern reverse cycle air conditioning systems function with low noise outdoor units that cause minimal disruptions to you when at home. In most cases, you will not even hear the unit operating. You can now concentrate on reading a book or enjoying a movie with your family without annoying humming noises.

Extended warranties

Manufacturers of ducted reverse cycle systems stand by their newer products by issuing extended warranties when you make a purchase. It is not uncommon to receive warranties of 3-5 years on the unit as a guarantee of quality.
